American composers Taylor Deupree and Stephen Vitiello collaborate once more with the graceful ambient splendour of 'May 18/Loop To Clouds'. Using just a banjo and a Hohner Pianet T, fragile structures and concepts were improvised during late night recording sessions for the final music included on this 10". The duo's collective work is created at a whisper enabling sounds from within the recording space to be captured heightening the silences. 'May 18/Loop To Clouds' is a prime example of how two longtime friends can come together and create an enthralling and magnificent soundscape. Pioneering, expansive and truly absorbing. Wonderfully attuned minimalism.
